Our Fourth of July plans were to visit my brother and his cute pregnant wife in Alameda but after filling up the car we decided to get a carwash and as we waited, our radiator broke and all of our coolant came out of the car. With it being a holiday weekend, no places were open to fix us up and we had to cancel our trip at the very last second! We were very disappointed not to get to see Ben and Esther but feel blessed that the car didn't break down on the freeway or far from home. Several friends knew of our plight and invited us to join them for their Fourth of July plans, including a parade, BBQ, and watching fireworks at the beach. We had a fun time and were glad we could still celebrate the day. This picture is of us at the local parade!
