So it turns out our radiator wasn't broken after all, just a loose cap and an engine sitting too long in line for the car wash. We made up for missing the fourth with Ben and Esther by visiting them the next weekend for Esther's birthday. They live on a beautiful island, even closer to the beach than we are in Monterey! They fed us BBQ from their new grill, let Xavier feed their "pet" ducks that visit them every day, and showed us kite surfers at the beach. Xavier's favorite thing at their house was all of their closet doors made out of mirrors. He just kept walking around looking at himself. We don't have any full-length mirrors at our house, so if he ever wants to see himself he has to stand up on our bed. I didn't get a picture of him at Ben's but I did get a similar picture of him when we went suit shopping for Joe!
