First Day of School

Pretending it's the first day of school to show off his new school stuff.

A yellow school bus like the one he rides to/from school.  It is his favorite part of every day!

First day greetings by his teacher, Miss Jenny

Three sessions of morning kindergarten ready to go inside.  There are 120 kindergarten children this year.
There are tons of parents milling around  the lawn and outside the gate.  X was starting to get nervous about leaving us at this point.

Not so happy anymore.  Mom?..Come with me. (I did.)
(He cried during the line up outside, which made me tear up,
but found a Lightning McQueen puzzle inside and was just fine after that.) 

He came home talkative and with a big smile (like this one) and told me he was starving!
